Ho Kay…

The power is back.

It transpires it was all a filthy ploy by a neighbour. He plays a lot of computer games with his children, and they [of course] beat the pants off him every time.

Never play computer games with children. The only things the are good at is computer games, programming the video and removing child-proof medicine caps.

Anyway, this neighbour became convinced that it was the electricity that was causing him to loose all the time. I have heard some great ones, but that is a classic! So he somehow managed to get the ESB to rewire the neighbourhood. I think he got the ESB to play a game with his kids to settle the matter. The kids won, he got his power changed and I got my tannin-free day.

He is going to arrive home this evening, convinced he is now going to win. Not a chance.

I wonder what he’ll blame next? It would be great if he could blame the state of the lane, because then that would be fixed.

Maybe he’ll blame the government?

We’ll know if there is an election called soon.
