Annie - I have called Twink many things, and I can't say that 'boring' was one of them. And you should know by now that the only thing people look for on my site is Porn!!!

Ah good ould Twink.. ya can't call her boring anyways!

Loads of my visits come from people googling 'crazy britney spears' or 'fake babies' (a channel4 documentary). Well when I say loads, I mean about 50% of my whole 10 visits a day probably hehe.

Grandad,

You and I may have stumbled on another one of those secrets of blog success. "Pre-blogging"! If I didn't have a cat perched on my shoulder at the moment I'd elaborate further. Have to wait until tomorrow then.

Robert - I did warn you! And anyone who even flicks through TV3/Tallaght TV deserves all they get. I wouldn't watch that channel if it was the only one. It's all Americana and very long ad breaks. So you don't get any sympathy from me!

"Thanks GD! I feel better now"

Sure, isn't that what I'm here for?

I've just had the misfortune of turning on the T.V and seeing the replay of that lunatic on the Turbidity show. She is off her head!

"Partying in Vegas with Elvis." WTF?

After a minute I couldn't take it anymore and I flicked up the channels and TV3 are showing the Superbowl! The second quarter just started, Someone scored a touch down in 2 seconds. everyone stood around for 5 mins and then someone kicked a ball over some post and with just 3 seconds gone everyone just ran off the pitch!

Seriously, what the hell is that game about? They even have cameramen on the pitch! It was actually so bad that I had to change back to Turbidity again but Twink was gone.

Of course I gave up on T.V altogether so now I'm venting here! Thanks GD! I feel better now.

Brianf - You probably aren't aware of the reference there. Twink is currently touring with her production of "Menopause The Musical". Personally, I'd say she is having to delve into the depths of her memory for that one! ;)

KirkM - I suppose it picked up on last years post because it was there first. I have found that also. It's a damn good idea though - pick on an event long before it happens and write about it and then get hammered on the big day!

But then, you don't want to write quality content. Do you?

Something very similar happened to me over the past few days which peaked yesterday. A huge peak for that matter when bounced against my usual average amount of visitors per day and it was all due to a rather obese rodent.

It never occurred to me that the closer we got to Groundhog Day was the (almost) sole reason my numbers were steadily increasing with a rather huge peak yesterday. The ironic thing about it was it was last years post getting all the attention...go figure. Okay, so the picture of the fat rodent was kinda cute but not that cute that it was downloaded umpteen times. Anyway, it will be good to get back down to my usual sparse numbers. I'd hate to become popular 'cause then I'd have to actually write quality content.
