Navy brown like a sailor’s …
Stripes and Plaid.
Yea, that’s the ticket.
A striped shirt, plaid pants and a pair of wellingtons.
A handkerchief tied in ’4 corners’ on your head.
Yea, that’s the ticket.
I would suggest a rainbow – but I’m told that is for gay rights now.
It’s amazing how people can appropriate even colours to themselves!
Sneezy – …… tobacco?
Brianf – I’m talking about the site. Not me!
Ian – As long as there is a pot of gold at the end? I don’t want it too garish!
I know you want to hear grey and beige, something comfortable that will stretch – in your banner for instance – but you won’t hear it from me.
Daddy P – I just did.
Skybluescarlet!
Grannymar – A sort of blood red sunset?
Flaming pink.
Not sure really, skybluescarlet was my Granny’s answer to everything. Must be time for it to come back into fashion
whenever I’m looking for color inspiration I head over to http://www.colourlovers.com. I will warn that it can be addictive and as time wasting as stumble though.
I like Brian F’s suggestion!
Is GRRRRR a hex color?
Your text color should definitely start with 666
Or some rad hotrod flames.
666?
That was Nero’s name rendered numerologically.
Lots of flames – reds, oranges?
Goldenrod on azure. I just like the word goldenrod. Heh goldenrod.
Yiz all seem to want plenty of hot flames? Can’t think why?
Blood? Flames? 666? Someone is trying to tell me something……
Stepford M – Thanks for that site. I’ll have a browse around.
Its all looking good.. how about a red-black theme with flames shooting all over. And a dash of goldenrod for a calming effect. You could put 666 as a watermark.
I was also thinking theme tones of “international puke” – that bright (read neon) green-yellow colour that is used for emergency vests, and the like, as well as street signs that need high visibility, such as cross walks
HEY, black and blood red is cool!!! My mammy says so!
Medstudentwife – Welcome! I put on sunglasses and dropped into your site expecting to be dazzled, and it’s lovely and serene [Like me]! Where did all this ‘flames’ and ‘puke’ come from?
Maxi – How did I know you were going to say that? You forgot yellow and blue though.
Simple colours for a simple mind!
Greetings Grandad, Can a yank have a go? No offense – are some of your mates a bit colorblind or is it time to pass the Stout? How about my colors, purple and silver gray, to add to the general merriment. Grannymar, my husband’s dad thought skybluepink was THE color. Salute.
Cglasshag
Barbara – Welcome!! Some of my mates are a bit strange. I like silver/grey [matches the beard], so I’ll ponder over the suggestions and see what I come up with.
There again, I may not bother my backside
