A cabal in our midst

So our cosy cabal have done it again.
Our esteemed government have found that they can’t stop their pensions ‘for legal reasons’.
Here we have a shower of incompetents who for their own ends have screwed this country left right and centre, until it is on the verge of bankruptcy, and who still insist on paying themselves pensions while still in office and drawing a salary.
My old friend Bertie, who has enough questions hanging over his past to fuel an entire series of “Who wants to be a millionaire” is happily sitting there in the Dáil, doing fuck all and drawing a pension on top of his salary. And how much is that pension? A mere €111,235.
I would be happy to be drawing a pension of €111,235. In fact, I would be happy to be drawing a pension based on a salary of €111,235. But no. I am a mere pleb and must make do with what I have.
Isn’t it amazing how laws can be changed overnight if the government so wishes? Isn’t also amazing how laws suddenly appear out of the woodwork when there is a threat to the cabal’s income? Isn’t is amazing how those laws can’t be changed overnight?
So Lenihan is reducing those pensions by 25%.
BIG FUCKING DEAL.
Why not 100%, or even 50%?
Because the Attorney General says the ‘may be legal issues’.
Bollox.
Having had the greatest arse kicking in the history of the state, they still carry on feathering their own nests.

I think it sums up that gang of bastards in the government very nicely?
