Kate – I wouldn’t mind a decent drop of snow. All we are getting in this neck of the woods is horizontal freezing rain. The rest of the country seems to be snowed under though.

Geri – It’s strange how the AGW people have ignored the fact that in medieval times the climate was a lot warmer? And that we had a mini ice age since then when the Thames froze over? Selective collective amnesia?

Judging by climates past (when humans had yet to come down from the trees and contribute their eensy-weensy bit of industrial muck to the pot) global warming/cooling was already occurring as a natural phenomenon, every few thousand years, or so. And will continue to do so long after humans have a). either blown themselves to smithereens in nuclear wars; or b). all had labotomies and learned to live in harmony with nature and each other. .-= Geri Atric´s last brainfart .. Twenty – Yes, that is very convenient all right. When it turns out that it’s ‘Global Cooling’ after all, they can still claim they are right!
